Extraordinary metropolitan runs on Line 2 after the Serie A match between Napoli e Udinese, scheduled for Wednesday 27 September at 20:45 at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium. Regional of Trenitalia (FS Italiane group), in agreement with the Campania Region and the Municipality of Napoli, will run metropolitan trains on Line 2 beyond the usual end of service time, so as to allow for an easier outflow of spectators.
In total there will be seven additional journeys departing from the Naples Campi Flegrei station for a total of 4 thousand seats, five of which in the direction of Naples San Giovanni-Barra and two in the direction of Pozzuoli. FS informs that it is preferable “buy your train ticket in advance to avoid queues or long waits at the ticket counter.”
Only those who show a valid travel ticket to the railway staff will be admitted on board. The staff, in collaboration with the police, will direct the passengers to the departing metro platforms.
In addition, the ticket office at Napoli Campi Flegrei will remain open until the end of the event. At the stations of Napoli Piazza Garibaldi and Napoli Campi Flegrei there will be customer service and FS Security, while the station at Piazza Leopardi will be closed from 21:30 pm and there will be no passenger service.
