It's autumn. In fact, the first effects of the Atlantic cyclone that is displacing the African anticyclone are already visible today.
After a long period of good weather and summer-like temperatures, wind and storms and snow are coming to the Alps above 2000 meters. This is what all meteorologists are explaining, according to which between today and Tuesday 17, bad weather will affect some areas of the South, where there will be scattered rain and some storms.
More sun instead in Sicily. In the rest of the country we will have many clouds, but the only weak rains will be able to wet only the reliefs of the Northwest and locally the Tyrrhenian side of the Center.
In the second part of the week, however, more intense phenomena are expected on Friday 20th. The storms could persist for several hours in the same areas.
The areas most at risk will initially be the northern regions (maximum attention on Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia) and the Tyrrhenian sectors (Tuscany, Lazio, Campania) where, "the possibility of local flash floods cannot be excluded given the quantity of water that could fall to the ground from the immense storm cells".
Rain will still affect a good part of the central-northern regions. Thanks to the drop in temperatures, the mountains will turn white again, especially the central-western Alps, with flakes starting from 2000 meters above sea level. Temperatures will also drop by several degrees especially in the North and in the Center
