A fire for reasons yet to be determined broke out in an apartment in Vomero, causing one death and two people to be poisoned.
The victim is the daughter of an elderly woman who lives in the condominium. The elderly woman was intoxicated as was the caregiver who looks after the woman and a neighbor who had arrived to provide assistance.
Two fire engines and the police arrived on site to put out the fire and determine the cause of the flames.
The fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor of a building overlooking Via Suarez: in the house they found a dead 55-year-old man and two other people slightly intoxicated, who were forced to seek medical attention.
According to an initial reconstruction, it would appear that the incident was attributable to an act of self-harm. The State Police is currently investigating.
