The autopsy will clarify the causes of death and the judicial investigation will instead shed light on the dynamics of the alleged accident that caused the death of Antonio “Tony” Scotto Di Luzio, the 42-year-old from Bacoli and a big Napoli fan, which occurred late yesterday afternoon while he was trying to climb over to enter the Maradona without a ticket to watch the Napoli Milan match.
Many doubts about the reconstruction provided by the friend who was with him and many doubts on the part of the investigators and on social media many criticize the behavior of the person who was with him and who only after a few hours would have provided his version to the police allowing them to find the body of the 42 year old.
Meanwhile, the municipality of Naples has already given orders to restore the grates cut by the firefighters to recover the body of the man found lifeless in the abandoned parking area located below the away sector of the Maradona stadium.
The Municipality's Heritage area has taken action to replace the protections that had been removed. The municipal administration has also taken action "to investigate the dynamics of the tragic accident that occurred - according to an initial reconstruction - when the man attempted to climb to access the facility for the Napoli-Milan match without going through the ticket control area".
Many knew the victim, a huge fan of the Napoli, transport worker, married, father of two. In the social comments there are also strong doubts about the version regarding the man's death.
The two had in fact taken an access route through a tunnel, which was suddenly found blocked. The companion explained that he then gave up and headed towards the external parking lot of the stadium: here he waited in vain for his friend, who he had lost sight of and who was not answering his phone calls.
He told the police that while he was trying to enter through the narrow passage, he heard a loud noise, like a beam falling. The alarm was raised and the search for the man began: the lifeless body was found around 2 am. The hypothesis is that Scotto Di Luzio, unlike his friend, managed to get through the tunnel. He then climbed a perimeter wall, falling from a height of about 20 meters. His body ended up in the area where there is a walled parking lot, under the away sector.
The mayor of Bacoli, Josi Della Ragione, expressed his condolences for what happened yesterday evening.

The competent authorities will ascertain what happened last night, near the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. Now, only mourning. And pain for a serious loss.
I will always remember him when, as a very young Napoli fan, both season ticket holders in Curva A, we followed our beloved Napoli. Together with many other Bacolesi. Those were the times of the return to Serie A, after the darkness of bankruptcy. Going to the stadium was always a great joy. And that's how it should be, always. For everyone. A young man leaves us. An old friend. A son of Bacoli. May you rest in peace, Tony”.
