In recent days, as part of the repression services against the marketing of products with false markings, carried out to protect consumers and honest traders, the financial police of the Mobile Section of the Economic and Financial Police Unit of Benevento, in the municipality of Airola they identified a commercial activity managed by a subject of Chinese ethnicity.
The shop in question was displaying for sale counterfeit 100 ml perfume packages, bearing the brands and logos of well-known Italian and European perfume companies such as Creed – Aventus, Jean Paul Gaultier, Tom Ford Velvet Orchid, Hermes, Bulgari, Cocò Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein and many others.
About one hundred of these packages were subjected to criminal seizure, identifying the hypotheses of introduction into the country and trade of counterfeit products and sale of industrial products with false markings.
Effectively combating counterfeiting also means safeguarding the Italian manufacturing sector, which is particularly exposed to the harmful effects of counterfeiting.
