High impact operation at Castel Volturno, Caserta, carried out by the Police, decided at the Technical Coordination Meeting, chaired by the Prefect of Caserta, Giuseppe Castaldo. Approximately 70 units were employed, including the State Police, the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza and ASL personnel, which allowed the control of approximately 920 people, numerous searches and the reporting of 13 individuals for various crimes, including evasion, violation of the provisions of the expulsion order and threats.
120 people were checked and subjected to preventive, precautionary and safety measures. Administrative police checks were also carried out, which allowed us to proceed with sanctioning 2 commercial establishments for an amount of over 5000 euros, for various irregularities. A commercial activity was seized because it was operating despite the closure already ordered by a previous mayoral order.
Furthermore, a “risto-pub” was closed by the ASL due to hygiene and health deficiencies. In addition to the results achieved, there are 41 decrees of “oral warning”, a preventive measure intended for people considered socially dangerous, signed yesterday by the Police Chief of Caserta for people residing in the municipality of Castel Volturno, adopted on the proposal of the Police Station.
