Napoli. Daniela Di Maggio, psychologist and mother of Giovanbattista Cutolo, the musician of the Scarlatti Orchestra killed in Naples last August after an argument over trivial matters, and Eugenia Carfora, headmaster of the Francesco Morano High School in Parco Verde in Caivano, will receive a special recognition for the social inclusion category as part of the seventh edition of the “Donne per Napoli” – Carpisa Yamamay Miriade Award.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Veronica Maya, will be held on Wednesday 20 December at the Teatro Posillipo in Naples.
The award, conceived by the entrepreneur Raffaele Carlino, president of Carpisa and Miriade, and the journalist Lorenzo Crea, artistic director of the event, intends to reward women, Neapolitan and otherwise, who have committed themselves in various capacities to the city of Naples, bringing prestige to the latter in various sectors.

The Technical Scientific Committee of the “Donne per Napoli” Award is composed of personalities from the scientific, academic, business, cultural and entertainment worlds such as:
Prof. Annamaria Colao (UNESCO Chair for Health Education and Sustainable Development, President of the Italian Society of Endocrinology and among the top ten Italian scientists in the world for number of publications in the medical-scientific field);
Prof. Raffaele Cercola (full professor of Marketing at the Second University of Naples and one of the major Italian experts in the sector);
Veronica Maya (TV host);
Francesco Tripodi (general manager of Miriade and CEO of Napoli Women's football team);

Partners of the evening are Cantina Tizzano, La buonezza dell'orto, Raffaele Caldarelli pastry chef together with Rosanna Romano, for the artisanal panettoni Caldarelli, a company that has supported the Award for years.
The recognition to Daniela Di Maggio and Eugenia Carfora
The special recognition to Daniela Di Maggio and Eugenia Carfora was awarded for their commitment to promoting social inclusion and the fight against discrimination.
Daniela Di Maggio, after the death of her son Giovanbattista, founded the association “GioGio Cutolo – Musica per la pace”, which promotes culture and music among young people, especially in the suburbs.
Eugenia Carfora, headmaster of the Francesco Morano High School in Parco Verde in Caivano, has launched a social inclusion project involving students of various nationalities.
The “Donne per Napoli” Award is an initiative that aims to enhance the role of women in society, particularly in the city of Naples.
