Fleximan has arrived in Lombardy, and the most recent episode occurred in the province of Bergamo, where the pole was cut down completely of the speed camera fixed positioned along state road 42 in Albano Sant'Alessandro.
According to L'Eco di Bergamo, the accident occurred during the night between Saturday and yesterday, and at 5 am yesterday morning motorists noticed the pole overturned in the embankment at the side of the road, where the speed limit is 90 kilometers per hour. On the contrary, the twin device positioned on the other side of the highway remained intact.
These fixed speed cameras have been present in that stretch since 2002 and detect an average of about 5.500 violations each year. There are no cameras that could have recorded Fleximan's action.
