In Naples, the pedestrian area along Royal Palace, included between Trieste and Trento square e via Vittorio Emanuele III, è stata liberata dal parcheggio of cars.
By decision of the Municipal Administration, led by Mayor Gaetano Manfredi, 8 new planters have been installed in order to prevent future occupation of the area as a parking lot.
The intervention was carried out this morning with the participation of the Councillor for Municipal Police and Legality, Antonio De Iesu, and the president of Municipality 1, Joanna Mazzone.
The local police officers, under the direction of Major Bruno Capuano, and the teams of Naples Services they collaborated to carry out the operation.
Councillor De Iesu explained that the decision to place the flower boxes to prevent car access is aimed at restoring legality in one of the most prestigious areas of the city of Napoli.
La rimozione del parcheggio abusive rispecchia anche le direttive del Ministero della Cultura, che raccomanda di mantenere libero lo spazio attorno a Palazzo Reale. Questo intervento mira a consentire, dalla piazza, un’apprezzamento ottimale della visione prospettica dell’edificio.
