A few hours after the strong earthquake last night in Naples, a strong complaint comes from Francesca Moletti who writes on social networks: “The video of the collapsed ceiling that is circulating on TV and social media is that of my room, and yet, despite the media attention, no one intervened to help me.
Since last night I have been trying to contact the Fire Department, the Municipal Police and the Civil Protection, but no one answers. I went in person, but I was only told: "Get in line".
The Fire Department, which is located a few steps from my house, refused to check the stability of the building because they say they have only one report. But then the videos only serve to make propaganda and audience, while those who suffered the damage are left alone?
I can't even go back home to get clothes and essentials. Who should intervene in a situation like this? Who protects citizens when they find themselves in an emergency?
I ask that something be done immediately: we cannot ignore those who need help, while using their drama to gain publicity."

It is truly shocking that no one responds to requests for help. Institutions must be more present in situations like these, and not leave people alone to struggle with their serious problems.
