A tragic incident occurred in Mignano Monte Lungo this afternoon, Caserta, where a 68-year-old pensioner lost his life after being crushed by a tree.
The man, who was maintaining a private property, was hit by the tree while he was trying to cut it down, causing his instant death.
The 118 paramedics intervened at the scene of the accident and, unfortunately, could do nothing but confirm the man's death.
