Zhanna Zhukova, a journalist and spokesperson for the My Volia association, expressed the discontent of the Ukrainian community in Naples regarding the photo that the Neapolitan street artist Jorit took the photo next to Vladimir Putin in Sochi.
Zhukova went to Piazza Dante, already a meeting place for the Ukrainian community, for a symbolic protest, where she put up two posters next to the small altar dedicated to Russian dissident Alexei Navalny, portraying Jorit next to Putin with the Russian prime minister's face stained with blood.
Zhukova, who moved to Naples from Odessa because of the conflict, had a direct thought for Jorit: “I am in your Naples, but if you like murderers, stay in Russia. Poor Jorit. You don’t understand that this monster eats people like you for breakfast, squeezes the juices out of them and then spits them out.”
