Ssixty-five seasonal workers join the other fourteen permanent employees to work on the 2024 Forestry Plan in Caserta.
Funded with over two million euros by the Campania Region, the project aims to prevent forest fires and hydrogeological risks, through mountain and hill reclamation and hydraulic control activities to mitigate the risks deriving from climate change.
President Giorgio Magliocca congratulated the forestry workers for the important work they will do to safeguard the woods.
The 2024 project includes new areas of intervention and starts a month earlier than the previous year, demonstrating a growing commitment to environmental protection. The forestry workers were welcomed in the Meeting Room of the Provincial Palace by councilors Michele Falco and Giuseppe Guida, by the sector manager Giovanni Solino and by the service manager Egidio Russo.
An important initiative that highlights the commitment of the local community in the prevention of forest fires and the sustainable management of natural resources.
