Hours are numbered for the hit-and-run driver who, driving a blue Citroen the other day, hit and killed 80-year-old Rita Rollini in Secondigliano (the woman died yesterday morning at Cardarelli).
The accident occurred on Via Labriola, in the direction of Via Ciccotti. The elderly woman was crossing the street. A car stopped to allow her to pass, but another car continued on its way, hitting her.
The officers of the accident section of the Municipal Police of Naples led by Captain Gaetano Amodio who are conducting the investigation through the viewing of the images of the video surveillance cameras have identified the car. Witnesses have confirmed that the driver did not stop after the accident.
