Blitz at the municipality of Caserta: a politician and some municipal officials involved in an investigation by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere into a series of rigged tenders were arrested.

Other people are also involved in the operation, including entrepreneurs. There are five arrests in total and all under house arrest. The investigation also developed thanks to numerous wiretaps and environmental wiretaps.
The arrests were carried out by the Carabinieri of the Caserta Investigative Unit on the orders of the Chief Prosecutor of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Pierpaolo Bruni.
During the operation, documents relating to some public procurement ended up in the investigation.
