Caserta. The Carabinieri of the Company of Caserta they arrested three people for resisting a public official and unjustified possession of altered keys and lock picks. The events took place last night during a territorial control service in via Acquaviva.
The attention of the military was drawn to a beige Fiat Panda with four people on board who, with their headlights off, were approaching the parked cars. The Carabinieri ordered the vehicle to stop, but the driver ignored the order and accelerated at high speed, starting a chase.
During the escape, the occupants of the Fiat Panda threw objects at the Carabinieri "gazzella" in an attempt to hinder the pursuit. Despite this, the military managed to block the car in via Paolo VI in the Municipality of Recale and arrest the three fugitives.
Inside the car, the Carabinieri found a control unit to decode alarms and burglary tools. One of the arrested, a 21-year-old, was already under house arrest. All three arrested will be tried with a direct trial.
A fourth man, a 17-year-old, who was on board the Fiat Panda, was reported at large for possession of a few grams of hashish.
