On June 17th, at the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in Avellino at 20.30:XNUMX pm, Sonora Junior Sax will present its new album “Onda Sonora”. The event will see the participation of eighty young musicians accompanied by their Tutors Maestros Luigi Cioffi, Angela Colucci, Nicola De Giacomo and Michele D'Auria, under the direction of Maestro Domenico Luciano. This youth orchestra, with its energy and passion for music, promises to enchant and involve the audience present.
A Musical Journey Through Prestigious Stages
Sonora Junior Sax is no stranger to the big stages. In the past, it has already graced the stages of renowned venues such as the Musikwerein, the Konzerthouse and the Muth in Vienna, the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, the Teatro Bellini in Catania, the Teatro Curci in Barletta, the Teatro Giordano in Foggia, the Teatro Stabile in Potenza, the Teatro dell'Aquila in Fermo and the Sala Verdi of the Conservatory in Milan. This youth orchestra continues to surprise and promises to do so again with its vast array of repertoire ranging from classical to more modern sounds.
Upcoming Events and International Collaborations
After the concert in Avellino, the orchestra will also be a protagonist in the event “La Primavera di Caivano”, organized by the Campania Region, with a beautiful concert that will be held on June 23. Afterwards, the Sonora Junior Sax will leave for Trento to participate in the “3rd European Saxophone Congress”, a unique opportunity to perform and interact with Master Saxophonists from all over the world.
