Pietro D'Orazio, Federica's father, denounced this by writing a heartfelt letter to the mayor Josi Gerardo della Ragione, detailing the incident point by point with the aim of "avoiding a tragedy that was sadly announced".
It starts at the end of November 2022 when "after years of abuse" Federica, with the help of a psychologist and the closeness of her parents, decides to report her ex for the first time for having received "a punch in the face at the end of a futile argument, specifying in the complaint that it was not the first time that her ex had raised his hands on her".
In January 2023, Pietro was confronted by his ex who, "in front of his parents who intervened to quiet the matter amicably", threatened to kill him and his daughter. "The same day I went to the Carabinieri in bacoli to file a complaint."
In the months that pass, the threats manifest themselves at every accidental meeting. “Your daughter is a whore, I must see you dead, I will make you live in terror,” is the tone of the invectives.
Last May, having learned that Federica had started a new relationship, her ex attacked the employees of the family farm that she runs, beating them, insulting them and forcing them not to work at the facility anymore "otherwise he would have torn them to pieces".
On June 21, 2023, the man "premeditatedly tries to kill my daughter, in fact at 6 in the morning he goes to the house where she lived at the farmhouse, turns off the electricity, cuts the internet connection wires, isolating it, as there is no telephone operator that picks them up, knocks on the front door and when she opens he throws himself into the house with his car trying to run her over, the greater width of the car frame compared to the door prevents the worst, her current partner immediately comes to the rescue and is attacked with a stick and ends up in hospital".
The ex, Federica's father says, "is neither stopped nor arrested for this act, despite our complaints". After this episode, the family suggests the woman to move away for about a month "in the hope that something happens... but nothing happens on the judicial level".
“Our lawyer – Pietro again – repeatedly asked the magistrate at this stage to issue precautionary measures to defend my daughter… but always to no avail”.
– Months of complaints followed for the attacks and death threats suffered by Federica, by her father and three times in a few days, on 14, 16 and 20 January this year, by an employee of the agritourism whose car was kicked “because he continued to work for that whore” and to whom the man allegedly said “if you don't resign I'll screw you forever”.
During this spring Pietro D'Orazio then records the disappearance of Flick, his mongrel dog "chipped and with two satellites". A report to the ASL of Pozzuoli follows, but no trace of the animal.
On more than one occasion, the daughter's ex claimed responsibility for killing the dog, telling Pietro: "You are crying for the dog that I slaughtered, he suffered as much as you will suffer and don't forget that you and your daughter will suffer the same end."

Flick's death is once again used as a reason to threaten Federica and her father: on June 5, after having stopped Pietro who was in the company of a friend of his, the ex-partner shouted about how he killed the dog "and repeated to me that that would also be the end of me and my daughter.
Completely stunned, I rush to file a complaint at the Bacoli barracks, but since they are closed at 21 pm, I file a complaint at the Naples police station, which is open 24 hours a day. Mr. Bianchi witnesses the entire scene and will also file a complaint with the State Police in Pozzuoli."
Then comes the attack by Federica's ex on five of Pietro D'Orazio's employees, whom he orders to resign "otherwise he would have taken them one by one".

The last episode, "at least for now", was on July 5th when the ex chased Federica's car on his scooter, threatening to kill her or disfigure her. Seeing a dog inside the car, he told her "that he'll tear this one apart too".
