The promotion of sustainable mobility is once again central to the Municipality of Bacoli, with a strong commitment to strengthening car sharing. Concrete proposals include the identification of municipal parking spaces and the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles. The Amicar Flegrea project, supported by the Fondazione con il Sud and officially presented on March 22 at the Casina Vanvitelliana, is at the heart of this initiative.
The project, promoted by Legambiente Iride Napoli in collaboration with the municipal administration and the social enterprise group Gesco, is organizing a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday 28 May at 18 pm, at the Villa Comunale in Bacoli. The meeting will be attended by important figures such as the mayor of Bacoli Josi Gerardo della Ragione, the councilor for the budget of the Municipality of Bacoli Rosaria Di Meo, the president of the pro loco of Bacoli Giuseppe Illiano, the director of the Gesco group Giacomo Smarrazzo.
And again, the head of the Digital Transition of the Ente Autonomo Volturno (EaV) Pasquale Rovito, the head of Legambiente Iride Napoli Anna Savarese, the head of the Amicar Flegrea project Vittorio de Majo, the professor of the University of Naples Federico II Cino Bifulco, the president of Unico Campania Gaetano Ratto and the head of Nhp Mario Cuollo Conforti.
During the meeting, strategies to enhance electric car sharing in Bacoli will be presented, through the identification of municipal parking lots and stalls, the installation of charging stations and the creation of a modal interchange hub in the Torregaveta station. Support services will also be discussed, including the implementation of dedicated apps.
The Amicar Flegrea project is not limited to car sharing, but also includes Amicare Care, a service dedicated to the transportation of people with limited mobility, created with fully electric vehicles. This project involves numerous partners including Nhp srl, the Controvento social cooperative, the University of Naples Federico II, Ente Autonomo Volturno (EaV), the Municipality of Monte di Procida, Cras srl, Legambiente Iride NAPOLI and the NClick cooperative.
