Late on Friday evening, the officers of the Police Station Sorrento, during the services arranged for this purpose, while passing through Piazza Tasso, they noticed a person who, at the sight of them, attempted to evade the control by entering a local establishment.
The police officers, who promptly intervened, reached him but the aforementioned, in those moments, attempted to get rid of a handkerchief inside which there were 10 doses of cocaine weighing approximately 4,6 grams, promptly recovered by the operators; furthermore, the man was found in possession of a further package of marijuana weighing approximately 2 grams.
For these reasons, the suspect, identified as a 20-year-old from Castellammare di Stabia with a specific police record, was arrested for illicit possession of narcotics and resisting a public official.
