'Na notte infame: An Album Full of Emotions
Piotta's latest album, 'Na notte infame, is an intense and personal work, inspired by the recent and premature death of his older brother Fabio, with whom Tommaso had shared the writing of many lyrics. The album explores the complex bond between brothers through personal and generational vicissitudes. Piotta recounts, with unprecedented depth, the eras that marked the lives of the two brothers, from the Years of Lead to the boom of the 90s, up to the birth of Italian Hip-Hop. Piotta's rap thus becomes more introspective and aware, both on record and live.
A Musical Journey Through Genres and Themes
During the concert, Piotta will retrace his entire career, crossing various musical styles. From singer-songwriter (Rimmel by Francesco De Gregori and Serpico with Tiromancino) to rock (WOT! with Captain Sensible and A testa alta), from funk (Troppo Avanti with Caparezza and Spingo io) to rap (Io non ho paura and La Valigia), including historic collaborations with Assalti Frontali, Villa Ada Posse, Colle der Fomento and Cor Veleno. There will be no shortage of his historic hits such as La Grande Onda, Vengo dal Colosseo and 7 vizi Capitale, along with the soundtracks of films and TV series such as Suburra.
Super Guests and Special Collaborations
On stage, Piotta will be joined by Ciccio Merolla, with whom he recently collaborated on the remix of the single “Professore”. Merolla’s performance, with his unmistakable percussion and the chorus sung together with Piotta, will add a unique touch to the show. The evening will be enriched by the presence of Lucariello, an old collaborator of Piotta since 2009.
A Rich and Multifaceted Execution
Piotta will be accompanied on stage by a group of exceptional musicians, including Francesco Santalucia (piano, bass, percussion), Augusto AKU Pallocca (sax, synth, rap), Francesco Fioravanti (electric and acoustic guitar) and Claudio Cicchetti (drums and percussion). The whole thing will be made even more suggestive by the visuals and sound engineer Cristiano Boffi. Don't miss the chance to attend a unique show, which through music and words celebrates the life and emotions of Tommaso Zanello and his brother Fabio. An engaging and touching sound journey, not to be missed.
