Antonio Conte, satisfied but still demanding, analyzed Napoli's 1-0 victory over Roma, valid for the thirteenth day of Serie A. Speaking to Sky Sport, the Italian coach underlined the importance of focusing on the growth of the group, rather than on the opponents: “Before the match I told the boys not to look at others, but only at ourselves to try to improve what we are experiencing.”
“For 70-75 minutes the team satisfied me: we created several situations in which we could have been more clinical. It wasn’t easy against Roma, a great team, with structured players, a new coach and great motivation.” Conte acknowledged a couple of mistakes in the management of the match, particularly in the last quarter of an hour: “We conceded that crossbar that we should have been more careful about. We need to manage the last quarter of an hour better.”
The coach then focused on Khvicha's performance kvaratskhelia, among the protagonists of the evening: “He had a great first half, one of the best since I’ve been here. I was very satisfied. He came back from the national team with some ailments, so he had to be managed. I always have to do what’s best for the team and the individual player.”

Conte's analysis of the victory is important, but I wonder if it is really enough to just improve yourself without considering the opponents. Roma also has strengths and cannot be underestimated.
