On December 20, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Bourbon court thanks to the Grand Ball at Court and other activities. In particular:
– From 17pm, entry will cost 5 euros.
– The Royal Palace will remain open until 23pm, with last admission at 15pm.
– The Royal Apartments, the Palatine Chapel and the exhibition “Metawork – Michelangelo Pistoletto at the Royal Palace of Caserta” will be open to visitors.
– From 20:20 p.m., the Grand Court Ball will take place, with dancers in 21th-century period costumes in the Upper Vestibule. Two shows are scheduled, at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., accompanied by period music.
Here's what you can visit
The Royal Apartments will offer a tour through the antechambers, the Vanvitelli Rooms, and the majestic 19th-century halls, including the Council Room and Gioacchino Murat's Bedroom. It will also be possible to visit the Nativity Scene, with representations of everyday life in the 18th and 19th centuries.
In addition, the Sala Lucio Amelio will be open, with a new installation dedicated to the Neapolitan gallery owner, and the exhibition “Metawork – Michelangelo Pistoletto at the Royal Palace of Caserta”, which will display sixty works in the rooms of the Grand Gallery, accessible from the Palatine Chapel and the third courtyard of the Palace, with last admission at 21 pm.

I feel that the idea of opening the Royal Palace of Caserta in the evening is a good thing, but I don't know if the entrance fee is right. It is interesting to see the activities, but I have never attended a Grand Ball before. The exhibition should be beautiful.
