Pasquale Punzo, the 38-year-old man under investigation for the November 18 explosion at his home on Via Patacca in Ercolano, Naples, remains in prison. The property, which he de facto owned, was turned into an illegal fireworks factory. The Court of Review confirmed the precautionary measure and the prosecution's case, supported by the Ercolano Carabinieri and the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office.

Towards Punzo an arrest warrant was issued for several crimes, including 'multiple voluntary homicide with eventual intent', 'possession and manufacturing of unconventional explosive material' and 'gangmastering'. The explosion caused the death of three young people: the twins 'Sara and Aurora Esposito', aged 26, and 18-year-old 'Samuel Tafciu', who were killed by the violent explosion that destroyed the illegal factory of pyrotechnic material.

The investigations, conducted by the Carabinieri of Ercolano, led Punzo to recognize his responsibilities during the interrogations that took place in recent weeks.
