Barano d'Ischia is shocked by a new case of domestic violence. Last night, a degenerate argument led to the arrest of a man for stalking his sister-in-law.
The police, who intervened urgently following a report of a violent family dispute, found the two parties involved with clear signs of aggression. The woman, who had shown up at her brother-in-law's house to meet her in-laws, was repeatedly attacked.
During a search of the man's home, officers made a macabre discovery: inside a duffel bag, hidden among personal items, they found numerous potentially lethal tools, including a soft air gun, knives, some of which were modified, and a large quantity of lead bullets.
The investigations confirmed a worrying picture: the man had already shown aggressive behavior towards the woman in the past, creating a climate of constant tension and fear.
The arrested person was taken to prison, while the seized objects will be subjected to further analysis. The incident, which has deeply shocked the local community, forcefully reiterates the issue of gender violence and the importance of reporting any form of mistreatment.
