Two people linked to the Camorra of the 167 clan of Arzano were arrested in Frosinone on Christmas Eve with almost ten kilograms of drugs in their home: one of them has already been granted house arrest.

This is Antonio Musella, 32 years old with some criminal records. Also arrested with him was the boss Angelo Antonio Gambino who had moved to Ciociaria with special surveillance and where he had found a new partner.

In the same operation, his brother Giovanni, who was released in October 2023, and Pasquale Puzio are also under investigation at large.

Yesterday, the third section of the Court of Review of Rome accepted the defense arguments of the lawyer Massimo Autieri and granted house arrest to Antonio Musella after only 20 days in prison. The boss Gambino instead (defended by the lawyer Salvatore Pettirossi) renounced the review and therefore remains in prison.

The two had been arrested by the police on Christmas Eve: the agents of the flying squad had noticed the car, a Toyota Aygo with Antonio Musella at the wheel heading towards the house of the boss Gambino while a Smart had stopped near the house with Antonio Musella inside. John Gambino and Pasquale Puzio.

The latter attempted to escape at the sight of the police but were stopped and found in possession of 52 grams of drugs.

Drugs and money seized from Gambino's house

The surprise came during the house search of the Gambino boss because 9,587 kg of narcotic substances were found, including 8,507 kg of cocaine and 1,080 kg of hashish. Also material for packaging drugs.

And again, on the wardrobe in the bedroom of the person under special surveillance, the sum of 38.895,00 Euros was found, divided into banknotes of various denominations and collected in several bundles secured with an elastic band and wrapped in cellophane, and a banknote counting machine.

The two ended up in prison but yesterday, sensationally, the Rome Review Court granted house arrest to Antonio Musella.

  1. I read the article about Musella and Gambino, it's strange how in a few days they went from being arrested to being under house arrest. I don't understand why justice can be so fast in some cases while in others it takes years to decide.
