COMO – In view of the challenge between How and Naples, scheduled for next Sunday, the Como police station has prepared a strengthening of the plant security to ensure public order and the smooth running of the sporting event.
Il Police Commissioner Marco Calì has arranged for a significant strengthening of the police force with the support of State Police, Carabinieri, Financial Police and Local Police. Among the measures adopted, there will be controls at vehicle filtering checkpoints intensified to facilitate the flow of fans to the reception area Grandate, from where they will then be transported to the stadium with an organised security system.
To ensure maximum control, additional mobile and fixed crews will be employed of Traffic Police, of the Carabinieri and the local police, in addition to a strengthening of the filtering at the turnstiles with a greater number of stewards and law enforcement officers. Guardia di Finanza, furthermore, will implement specific controls to prevent phenomena of illegal activity and administrative offences related to the event.
The security measures are part of the broader planning established by the Como Police Headquarters following the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, chaired by the Prefect Corrado Comfort Galli, and to the next one Technical table held at the Police Headquarters.
