The Parliament in joint session elected four judges of the Constitutional Court. The judges who will allow the Court to meet again in plenum after 460 days are: Francesco Saverio Marini, Massimo Luciani, Maria Alessandra Sandulli, Roberto Cassinelli, all elected with the quorum of three fifths necessary for the white smoke.
The agreement between the majority and opposition parties is the result of constant pressure from the Quirinale to ensure that Parliament elects the members who did not allow the Consulta to convene the plenum and fully exercise its functions. It will now be necessary to wait a few more days before the judges take the oath in the hands of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinale Palace.

The election of judges was a big deal but I don't know if this will lead to any real changes. I have doubts about how they will operate and if they will be able to work together well, we will wait and see.
I hope these new judges can really make a difference, but I fear that political pressure could influence their decisions. This is a problem that concerns all of us citizens.
