Aversa – A 37-year-old Tunisian is hospitalized in critical condition after being brutally attacked by a 22-year-old fellow countryman in Aversa, near the Jumbo shopping center. The episode occurred during the night, when the two men started a violent fight for reasons that are still unclear.
According to an initial reconstruction by the Carabinieri of the radiomobile section, who intervened following a report to the Operations Centre, the young man accused the 37-year-old of having stolen 300 euros in cash and his mobile phone. After the first clash, both had gone to the Moscati hospital to have their wounds treated. wounds brought back into the brawl.
But the attack didn't stop there. Once discharged, the 37-year-old was attacked again by the 22-year-old outside the hospital, suffering a violent beating that left him in very serious conditions. The attacker then fled, but was intercepted near a pub in Lusciano and arrested by the military.
The young man is now in the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison on charges of attempted murder.
