CASERTA – The Caserta State Police has notified three Daspo orders to the managers of a football team in the province, involved in an attack on the refereeing team.
The episode occurred last December 1st at the Bisceglia stadium in Aversa, at the end of the match between Real Normanna and Albanova, valid for the Eccellenza Campania championship, group A. According to the reconstruction of the agents of the Aversa Police Station and the Anti-Crime Division, the three managers, at the end of the match which ended 0-0, invaded the pitch to attack the referees.
The reason? The failure to award a penalty kick and the disallowing of a goal in favor of their team. Only the intervention of the police prevented the situation from degenerating further. The measures, issued by the police chief of Caserta and notified in recent days, prohibit the recipients from accessing all sports facilities where their team and any other team, from Serie A to the Third Category, play matches for a period of three years. In addition to the Daspo, the three have been reported to the judicial authorities for their actions.

It's incredible how the managers of a football team can act in this way, but perhaps they should have evaluated the situations better before committing certain acts. Violence is never the right answer.
