Naples - This morning, the Local Police's Environmental Protection Unit seized the sports facility on Via Marco Rocco di Torrepadula in Naples for serious environmental violations.
Operation carried out together with technicians from Abc, Arpac, National Labor Inspectorate, Asl, Enel, 2I Retegas and the Italian Army.
The investigations revealed that the facility lacked the necessary authorization to discharge wastewater from the backwashing process of the swimming pool's filtering system into the public sewer system.
Furthermore, inside the area were found special waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous, illegally managed. The owner was reported to the Judicial Authority.
