Hours of anguish in Qualiano for the disappearance of Mario Granata, of whom there has been no news since the morning of March 9. The family has launched an appeal on social media in the hope of receiving useful reports for his recovery.
"I'm asking for your help in finding my father-in-law Mario Granata. He's suffering from Alzheimer's and may be in a state of confusion, unable to return home," wrote the man's daughter-in-law, explaining that he left Via Gaetano Donizetti around 10:00 a.m.
Several reports came in throughout the day. "In the evening, we were told that Mario was seen in the area of the outer ring road at 11:30 this morning. We went looking for him, but without success, partly due to the darkness," the woman added.
The family's appeal continues: "If anyone sees him tomorrow morning, we ask you to notify us immediately." The community has already mobilized for the search.
