The Naples Police Headquarters is stepping up the fight against drugs and weapons with extraordinary operations that, in the last 24 hours, have led to the arrest of three Neapolitans aged 30, 31 and 21.
Targeted operations conducted by agents of the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue and the Police Station Scampia They struck hard in the heart of the city.
In via Luigi Compagnone, the police surprised two individuals on a terrace who, at the sight of them, took refuge in an apartment. When checked, the 30-year-old and the 31-year-old were found with a bag of hashish, one of marijuana and 40 euros in cash.
In the house, the loot: 60 sachets with 83 grams of marijuana, 31 packages of hashish (60 grams), a precision scale and packaging material. Both arrested for illicit possession of narcotics.
In Scampia, on via Eugenio Colorni, the officers intercepted a 21-year-old who, with a suspicious attitude, was leaving a premises under a portico. The check revealed a criminal arsenal: 40 packages and 9 cylinders of cocaine (24 grams), 32 packages of heroin (57 grams), packaging material, a .45 caliber pistol with the serial number erased, 4 cartridges and 310 euros. The young man was arrested for drug possession, carrying a clandestine weapon and receiving stolen goods.
