A serious accident occurred this afternoon, Tuesday, September 8, along the 7 Quater Domiziana state road, in the Castel Volturno area. Two people were struck by a car while they were on or near the roadway, suffering serious injuries.
The crash occurred at kilometer 27,500 on the state highway, heading towards Rome. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and provided first aid to the injured before they were taken to the hospital.
Investigations are still ongoing to reconstruct exactly what happened. The identities of those involved and the circumstances surrounding the accident have not yet been released.
