"Wolves' Prey. Parasitic Loves": The literary season kicks off again at the Mondadori Bookstore in Maddaloni.

After the summer hiatus, the vacation break that propelled us toward a packed program of entertainment of all kinds, September brings us back to more intimate cultural initiatives, focused on the world of reading and debate. In this context, the Mondadori Bookstore in Maddaloni will soon turn the spotlight on literary events with a topical social and psychological theme.

On Wednesday, September 9th, at 18:00 PM, at the bookstore in Piazza Umberto I, journalist and writer Lucia Dello Iacovo will present her debut novel, "Le prede dei lupi. Amori parassitari," published by Robin Edizioni.

A high-quality event presented by Lucia Grimaldi, Director of the Belvederenews 2.0 newspaper, with guests including psychologist Dr. Bianca Carannante, Lina Nardiello, and Emilia Luciano of the theater group "Separati...ma non troppo."

The conversation with the author will spark a timely reflection on the novel's focus: the increasingly widespread manipulative dynamics within relationships, ranging from the discovery of the characters, the architecture of the text, and the natural development of the story.

"The Prey of Wolves. Parasitic Loves" reveals the toxic mechanisms of these types of relationships, but also seeks to spread hope by affirming the importance of a healthy awareness, which can recognize the value of authentic relationships. Lucia Dello Iacovo has crafted a choral novel, thanks to the multiplicity of characters, and layered in its setting. The cities of Rome, Naples, and Caserta are integral to the story, themselves protagonists of the narrative, which thus acquires a distinct cinematic quality.
