It looked like he had to unload some furniture but instead he had to buy some drugs.
It happened at Parco Verde in Caivano, where the Carabinieri arrested a 44-year-old truck driver from Pesaro Urbino. The man, after parking an articulated lorry from a well-known Italian chain of large-scale retail trade in furniture and furnishings near Parco Verde, headed inside one of the buildings from where he then left a few moments later without making any deliveries.
The Carabinieri, suspicious of this behavior, checked the man, who ran away in an attempt to cover his tracks. During the escape, some packages containing cocaine and heroin fell from his pocket; the driver was chased and caught by the Carabinieri, trying to break free and resisting. In the end he was stopped by the Carabinieri, found with doses of drugs and arrested.
