A 26-year-old man from Pozzuoli was arrested by the police for a furious brawl that broke out last night with chairs being thrown in a bar in Piazza Erbe, in the centre of Verona.
The Flying Squad officers of the Police Headquarters Scaligera, who intervened in support of the local police who patrol the places of the "movida" to avoid gatherings, last night stopped three people, but one turned out to be completely unconnected to the facts, while a 25-year-old from Termoli is the victim of the attack carried out by the arrested man, who tore off his polo shirt, and has reserved the right to file a complaint.

The young man arrested is accused of injuries aimed at resisting a public official, contempt and threats to a public official. Completely drunk, he had left the scene of the fight but was identified by the police who had to accompany him to the emergency room because he was injured: the doctors discharged him with a prognosis of eight days.
Once at the police station, the 26-year-old continued to behave in a threatening and aggressive manner until the charges were formalized. The trial with a direct trial is scheduled for tomorrow.
