Caserta caregivers killed in Catania: immediate trial for the killer.
La General power of attorney of Catania has requested and obtained the immediate trial of Giampiero Riccioli, accused of having killed and the bodies of the two Caserta carers disappeared, Alessandro Sabatino, 40 years old, from San Marcellino and Luigi Cerreto, 23 years old, from San Marco Evangelista.
The boys' bodies were found 7 years later the disappearance (it was May 12, 2014), in the villa in the Tivoli district in the province of Syracuse, owned by Riccioli. The man is now in prison. The trial will begin on October 12, before the Court of Assizes. His lawyers could ask for an abbreviated trial.

The two, we recall, had left from the province of Caserta to work as carers in Sicily, at Riccioli's father's. They had reported the son's mistreatment of his elderly parent. This could be the motive for the double homicide.
