Checks throughout the city and province. The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples continue to patrol the territory with particular attention to nightlife and compliance with anti-contagion regulations.
Yesterday evening, 32 fines were notified in the city for violation of the curfew. In particular, in the historic center, when the curfew started, the nightlife squares were carefully and without any problems cleared and Calata Trinità Maggiore, Via Carrozzieri and Largo San Giovanni Maggiore.
In this last square, 9 young people were fined, 2 of whom were also reported to the Prefecture for personal use of marijuana.
At night, however, the militar intervened in Piazza Carolina to remove 20 young people who had gathered well beyond the scheduled time curfew. At the sight of the Carabinieri they fled. Only one of them, a criminal, was stopped and fined.
