Torre Annunziata, a theft at the municipality is foiled: praise to the police
Mayor Vincenzo Axe awards a commendation to Local Police officers Michele Ascione and Renato Avallone.

Last May 30, there was an attempted theft at the municipal headquarters in via Provinciale Schiti, 51, thwarted only thanks to the intervention of the two officers.
“Alerted by the alarm at the Town Hall – the commendation reads – officers Ascione and Avallone promptly headed there and carried out an inspection of the building.
Inside the same was found an intruder intent on committing a theft to the detriment of the Institution. The officers, with professionalism, courage and spirit of self-denial, proceeded to arrest the criminal, bringing him to justice.
It is men like Ascione and Avallone that our community needs”. The award ceremony, which took place this morning, Wednesday 9 June, at the Mayor's Office, was attended by the two officers and the commander of the Local Police, Lieutenant Antonio Virno.
