Ghost waste collection in Portici, the protest by Alessandro Caramiello of the 5 Star Movement
The 5 Star Movement of arcade driven by Alessandro Caramiello responds to the appeal of the director of Leucopetra, the company that manages the Nu service in Portici, reiterating that there are no controls on separate waste collection. “We agree with the Director of Leucopetra, Alessandro Pacilli, when he calls for greater separate waste collection in the city – explains Caramiello -.
But, unfortunately, the reality is very different from what is told and in fact, there are no more controls in Portici. Now everything is mixed, every type of waste”. A complaint by the municipal councilor of the 5 Star Movement largely documented by a series of (recent) images that highlight how, in fact, the waste is mixed without any kind of distinction.

But not only separate waste collection in the political force's complaint, because Caramiello also highlighted how in the last year there has been an increase in the Tari.
"The waste tax has increased by 1.200.000 in one year and we are taking too much undifferentiated waste to the landfill - he continues -. We paid 259.000 euros for the bags of undifferentiated waste. It's anything but free. We need a resolution plan, which certainly does not include publicly mocking commercial premises as some have already done, but launching awareness campaigns to urge citizens to carry out proper separate waste collection, providing, why not, some rewards.
Adding, obviously, an increase in checks and fines for uncivilized people". In this way, the 5 Star Movement urges the municipal administration of the city of the Reggia to arrange for greater controls by the municipal police and awareness campaigns to combat illegal dumping.
