Airola. The Airola Carabinieri Station Command, at the conclusion of investigative activity, reported at liberty to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Benevento 4 young people, aged between 18 and 24, three of whom are originally from the province of Caserta and one from Airola, because they were responsible for the crimes of brawling in competition, personal injury, private violence and damage.
The investigations, immediately started by the military, arose following an assault that occurred in Piazza Vittoria in Airola, on the night of June 13, 2021, where two boys, after being forced to get out of their vehicle because the passage was blocked by other vehicles, were beaten by a large group of young people.
The latter, on that occasion, also damaged the car in which the two complainants were travelling. Afterwards, they were examined and treated at the Sant'Agata de' Goti Hospital and were both deemed curable with a 5-day prognosis.
The investigative activity has allowed us to identify those responsible through viewing the footage from the municipal video surveillance system, analyzing the data from the databases, checking personal details and identifying photographs. Further investigations are underway to verify the possible participation of other individuals in relation to the facts being investigated.
