Napoli. Yesterday evening, officers from the General Prevention Office, during their territorial control service, while passing through via Marco Aurelio Severino noticed two scooters with four young people on board who were proceeding at high speed in the direction of via Santi Giovanni e Paolo and who, at the sight of them, continued their journey despite having been ordered to stop.
A long chase ensued during which the drivers performed dangerous maneuvers for road traffic until they took different directions; shortly after the operators, thanks to a patrol from the San Carlo Arena Police Station that arrived in support, reached them and stopped them in via Cupa Pozzelle.
A 19-year-old and an 18-year-old with a criminal record and two minors aged 16 and 17, all Neapolitans, were reported for resisting a Public Official; furthermore, the two minors, driving the motorcycles, were also charged with two violations of the Highway Code for driving without a license since they had never obtained one and for not stopping at a checkpoint.
Finally, the scooters were subjected to administrative seizure and the minors were entrusted to their parents.
