A rich and quality theatre season is proposed for 2021/22 by De Rosa Theatre, which presents itself to the public with an inaugural conference in the foyer of the theatre itself, with guests from the cast of the new season such as Adriano Falivene, Maria Bolignano, Francesco Procopio and Giovanni Allocca, together with the institutions in the person of Marco Antonio del Prete (Mayor of Frattamaggiore) and Michele Granata, Councillor for Culture and Deputy Mayor of the city.
A cinema from the 50s, the theatre was built in 1949 by engineer Isidoro Caso on commission from Raffaele De Rosa known as “Palummiello”, who at the time was already the owner of the Eliseo Theatre (now a restaurant) in the same city.
Purchased, renovated and managed since 1997 by the fourth generation with the grandson Francesco De Rosa and sons, founders of "Arteventi Srl" who gave life to the only theatrical reality to date in Frattamaggiore, located in the beating heart of a city in the province of Naples.
And it is thanks to the tenacity and passion of the new owners that on the stage, strongly desired by them, have come and gone well-known names of the Italian Theater such as Vincenzo Salemme, Carlo Buccirosso, Nando Paone, Antonio and Maurizio Casagrande, Mariano Rigillo, Pamela Villoresi, Isa Danieli, Giulio Scarpati, Biagio Izzo, Peppino Di Capri, Peppe Barra, Nino D'Angelo, Sal da Vinci, Enzo Gragnaniello, Enzo Avitabile, Rocco Papaleo, Luigi De Filippo and many other names of the national scene.
