A few hours after the discovery of the body of a 45-year-old policeman, the news of the death of his mother, EF, 61 years old, originally from Caserta, arrives. The same colleagues from Bologna are investigating the tragedy and the drama that took place in the Bolognina neighborhood.
After a report from a neighbor who knew both of them well, the officers intervened yesterday afternoon, February 2, and found the man already dead. Next to him, his 61-year-old mother in an unconscious state, then rushed to the Maggiore hospital.
The circumstances of the incident are still being examined by the Flying Squad which is investigating, together with the forensic team, coordinated by the prosecutor Bruno Fedeli. At the moment, the hypotheses of a murder-suicide or a double suicide, through the ingestion of drugs, are not being ruled out.
