To sell drugs between Scampia and Secondigliano they used the so-called 'Neapolitan panaro' method, the wicker one lowered from the window.
The Carabinieri of Giugliano in Campania have executed 6 precautionary measures against 5 individuals (one is unavailable) all residents of Secondigliano and Scampia considered responsible for the crime of continued and ongoing possession and trafficking of narcotic substances.
During the investigations, at least 80 sales were discovered to have been made directly from home or fromgrandparents' house of one of the suspects from whom the 'panaro' was lowered. In some phases of the 'sale' the carabinieri also ascertained the involvement of two minors aged 14 and 17, brothers of one of the suspects.
Of those arrested, two were taken to prison while the other 3 were placed under house arrest. Investigations are now continuing to track down the sixth member of the gang who has gone missing.
