Chaos airports: Capodichino Some citizens reported having been “prisoners” for over 24 hours Naples-Tunis flight scheduled to depart on the morning of August 5, 2022 and departed the morning of the following day.
The travellers, once they arrived at the gate, discovered that theplane was not available for take-off, therefore it was expected to be a aircraft replacement. After a long wait the plane finally arrived, much smaller but of the previous one, which would have forced someone to stay on the ground. The situation was unblocked only the following morning when, after more than 24 hours of waiting, all those who had purchased the ticket managed to board.
"Thinking of managing the flow of arriving and departing travellers in this way is just a resounding own goal that is not good for our city. To do justice to this organizational disaster, I expect those responsible for the delay to at least compensate the poor travellers who were held hostage by the 'ghost' flight for about 24 hours", the words of the Europa Verde councilor Francesco Emilio Borrelli contacted by citizens who were victims of the poor service.
