Yesterday afternoon the police officers of arcade– Ercolano, with the support of a Canine Anti-Drug Unit of the General Prevention Office, carried out a check in via Benedetto Croce in Portici at the apartment of a man because some citizens, via the YouPol app, had reported a drug dealing activity.
The police officers, arriving on the scene, noticed a coming and going from the house and, shortly after, saw the man come out and, after tinkering with a car nearby, return to his apartment.
The operators intervened and identified him, finding in the house 4 precision scales, various material for packaging drugs, a cell phone, two car keys and 3435 euros; subsequently, they also checked the car where they found 6 bags with approximately 189 grams of crack, another bag containing approximately 63 grams of cocaine, 145 cartridges of various calibers, another 5 blank cartridges cal.357 and 2 pistols, one with a serial number erased and the other resulting lost in 2017.
CR, a 43-year-old from Portici with a police record, was arrested for illegal possession of clandestine weapons and related ammunition, receiving stolen goods and possession for the purpose of dealing drugs; finally, a person was administratively sanctioned for possession of a narcotic substance for personal use because, during the control phases, he had attempted to get rid of a wrapper containing approximately 0,3 grams of cocaine.
