In Santa Maria la Carità, the Carabinieri of the Sant'Antonio Abate station arrested Pasquale D'Amora, a 23-year-old local man already known to the police, for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
During an anti-drug raid, the military searched the young man's home and found a package containing marijuana and 57 other doses of the same substance ready for sale. The drugs, weighing a total of 110 grams, were seized along with a precision scale and packaging material for the drug.
The arrested man is awaiting trial, which will be held with a direct trial before the Court of Torre Annunziata. In the meantime, investigations continue to track down the suppliers and establish on whose behalf he was dealing.
