If to effectively resist the piercing action of bullets and firearms it is enough to wear bulletproof clothing, what protects us from the sudden and silent blows that pierce our hearts, penetrating trust, memories and feelings?
From this question was born “Antiproiettile”, the new single by Blade who, after having thrilled with the incisiveness of his pen and his ability to excellently vary sound and flow in his debut EP “Sopra le nuvole”, returns to tell his story by showing another side of himself, the more resolute, independent and aware one.
Rap, trap, electronic and hypnotic lounge and chillout nuances blend together – thanks to the skill of trusted producer Francesco Brattoli – to the point of merging to create an armor that does not feed on weaknesses and fragilities, nor does it stand up to hide the true nature of those who wear it, but rather works to shield and stop all those cartridges filled with hatred, judgment, spite and malice that come from the outside and very, too often, prevent us from fully expressing ourselves, undermining and compromising the path to achieving our goals.
An armor that does not repress pain, but that with that same suffering is and strengthens us, making us the true protagonists of our existences and the sole masters of our emotions and the reactions that we decide to put in place to every external attack. An invisible shell but more solid and compact than ever, that does not return the blow to the sender with the same bullet loaded with violence from a viewfinder full of hatred and revenge, but softens the blow to temper and reinvigorate us, allowing us a much healthier and more satisfying counteroffensive, that of achieving our personal goals.
Between interlockings, slang and punchlines, the young rapper from the outskirts of Milan, who has found his “Projectile” shield in music, urges the listener to trust his own instincts and dreams, leaving aside and overcoming with elegance, style and class, just like an “Armani matched bulletproof”, the malignity and aversion of those who, instead of cultivating a full and harmonious existence, do nothing but try to hinder and destroy the lives and aspirations of others.
"A bulletproof vest - says the artist - is designed to protect against gunshots, but mine was designed to protect me from all the people who want me on the ground. It's armor because I only trust myself, after what I've been through nothing touches me anymore, not even people's opinions. I would like to make those who listen to me understand that it's always better to follow your own head, your own dreams and your own heart instead of the judgments and non-constructive criticisms of others, overcoming the fear of what they might think and of being alone. Live to the fullest, don't stop feeling alive for a day; this is the main message of the song".
And it is that fear of being alone that sometimes comes between us and our desires, a fear that, if analyzed thoroughly, dissolves in the awareness that those who truly love and appreciate us listen to us, support us and express our views and opinions assertively, without making us feel inadequate and out of place.

Biography
Blade, pseudonym of Sami Azzabi, is a singer-songwriter born in 2000 in Cernusco sul Naviglio and transplanted to Crema. He approached music from an early age, discovering Rap through freestyle and deciding to give life to his first unpublished lyrics. After a long journey of introspection and meticulous sound research, at the end of 2022 he published on all digital platforms "Sopra le nuvole", his debut EP that well encapsulates all the nuances of his soul and his artistic vision, followed, the following year, by "Antiproiettile", an armor of rhymes and flow against judgment and hostility. Incisive, charismatic, but at the same time thoughtful and attentive observer of emotional movements, Blade is one of the most promising talents of the new Italian rap game, an artist capable of differentiating himself and making himself recognizable thanks to a unique writing and interpretative attitude, which through lyrics full of reflections and feelings, reach the public with the universality and delicacy that only first-hand experiences translated into music are able to give.
